Pneumatech PH Series is a heat of compression adsorption dryer engineered for zero purge loss operation, designed to work directly alongside Atlas Copco oil injected rotary screw compressors as an integrated drying solution.The PH Series recovers heat generated during compression inside the Atlas Copco compressor to regenerate the desiccant bed. No external heating element and no purge air consumption. Every cubic metre of compressed air produced by the Atlas Copco compressor reaches the distribution system rather than being vented to atmosphere for regeneration.Zero purge loss means the full rated output of the Atlas Copco compressor is available to the production process on every shift. A conventional heatless adsorption dryer consumes 15 to 20 percent of compressor output as purge air. On a 55 kW Atlas Copco GA55 that purge loss represents significant wasted energy across a full operating year.The Pneumatech PH Series delivers a pressure dew point of minus 40 degrees Celsius at rated conditions. Sensitive pneumatic instruments control valves and process equipment receive air quality that heatless and refrigeration dryers cannot match without additional desiccant stages.The desiccant bed in the PH Series is regenerated by the actual heat of compression from the connected Atlas Copco compressor. No electrical resistance heater no steam connection and no blower motor adds to the electrical load of the compressed air system.Pneumatech engineers the PH Series for straightforward integration with Atlas Copco GA GX and larger series screw compressors. The dryer connects between the compressor discharge and the aftercooler using standard compressed air pipework connections.Desiccant service life extends significantly in a heat of compression system because the bed is never cooled and reheated through a full ambient temperature swing on each regeneration cycle.
